Reply author: Cool4u2view Ogg is still supported.. The major differences are that the Neuros II is black and has much better MyFi.
Reply author: MasterPi Thanx. I think i like the black better, actually.

Reply author: American Techpusher I agree that most people prefer the black, but we do get requests for grey units.
Reply author: MasterPi Does anyone know why the Neuros II does not appear unbundled on the "Neuros" products page? I was trying to email the webmaster but my stupid ISP (MSN) is blocking port 25 (smtp) so i cant send email.
Reply author: American Techpusher Can you clarify what you are asking? I’m not sure what you are looking for here? There are a lot pictures of the new bundles and non bundles..
Reply author: MasterPi Sorry for being unclear. The page I am talking about is http://www.neurosaudio.com/store/prod_neuros.asp. This was the only product page I could find (excepting those for the accessories). There appears to be no link to an unbundled Neuros II - they all have backpacks. I had to do a product search to find the unbundled version. I don't exactly have $250 lying around so i was looking for a cheaper version - not to replace my computer music library, but to replace my RCA Lyra. (Which the plain old Neuros II is - 10$ more than i originally paid w/way more features and the same amount of mem)
Reply author: MasterPi Ahh! i feel slightly stupid. it was under "Neuros Store". Still, it wasn't easy to find or apparrent even that u could get it w/o the HD and even the store page only lists the 64MB model.
Reply author: American Techpusher You could always start by getting just the 128MB Flash player then upgrade to HD version later on..
Reply author: Cool4u2view Note if you get just the player whether it be the 128MB or 256MB player you will still need a battery backpack to make it work. As Keith mentioned, the HD backpack can always be purchased later on.
Reply author: MasterPi That's what i was planning on doing (like i said, i dont have a couple hundred dollars lying around for an mp3/ogg player). I didn't know u needed a battery pack though, thanks for the info. I was just saying that the product w/o the backpack was hard to find on the page and i wouldn't want anyone missing out on a great player cause they cant find the cheaper version.
