Hi
new user NII 30GB, been copying my music to .ogg for various reasons, one of which I was told it supports gapless playback, and I thought the NII did as well?
Im using audiograbber for extraction. seems to work just fine, but DJ mixes that have track IDs dont play back without glitching a bit.
can anyone help me with this?
thanks in advance

Gapless playback is not available on the Neuros.
There is an open entry in BugZilla. It is currently ranked #3 in votes.

yeah...read about it after finding other responses. thanks for posting
really bummed to hear that, since I listen to DJ mixes a lot
BUT...found out that with audiograbber...might be able to change the end sector of the first track to that of the last track, and somehow end up with one solid mix still? but then no ability to skip between tracks?
this is all kinda confusing.
:)

Not really sure what to say.
Hopefully the firmware being open will allow that feature to be added.

found a way around it, just by ripping it as all one file, but then there are no track markers.
found a prog called CueMaster that is supposed to embed that info into the file (only works on MP3 apparently) but I cant get it to work like its supposed to
more concerned with seamless mixes than skipping around, but its nice to be able to do and Id like to figure it out
thanks again for the responses
