I downloaded and installed the beta 2.21 firmware today, and I'm very pleased; I love the scrolling menus.

I've tried playing with the playlist queue, and I can queue individual songs, but is there any way to queue a whole album? It would be handy for the longer trips to be able to queue a bunch of albums so you didn't have to fool with your Neuros while you were driving for the entire trip.

I was just discussing this online with a couple friends who haven't had the chance to upgrade yet, and was giving them my review of the Playl Queue, so I figured I'd mention it on here as well.

I understand the (slight) difference between Play Queue and using MyMix, having read the discussions about this feature on Bugzilla and elsewhere. In practice, though, I can't see myself using this feature any more than I used the other, due to a) the lack of ability to queue up entire albums or playlists, and b) the noticeable skip that occurs when I start editing the queue list during playback.

If I could add a couple albums at once, the second issue would probably be acceptable, since I could put up with a few skips in order to queue up several hours of uninteruppted music. There's no way I'm going to add fifty tracks individually, especially with the audio stuttering the whole time.

The text scrolling is indeed nice. I can't give my feedback on the DJ features since they don't interest me very much and I don't see that I'll ever mess with them.

Thanks for pointing this out.

I added my vote.

Too bad we don't get more than 10 votes!

Hello,

I was pleased by the DJ controls and the queue list to be pulled in the neuroS. It's a good thing for the neuros to get closer to professionnal music equipment.
As I was saying in another post, it's good to move a lot of songs in such a little thing, but it must have the ability to act like a professionnal CD or MD player.
The thing is : there is no AUTOPAUSE or AUTOREADY or SINGLE PLAY fonction yet.
And that a shame. Adding pitch shifting is a good Idea, but the most usefull thing in a DJ player is the ability to wait for the user to push PLAY button to begin playing the NEXT song.
Using one neuro in professionnal environnement could allow to mix two neuros or to mix one neuro with a CD player, or to use the neuro alone, in a conduct of sound effect without beeing focused in pausing the song, preparing the next, play the PLAY button again.
I thing this would not be to difficult to add, and it could be very usefull for DJ or Sound Engineers users.
