Howdee party peeps. Anyone use HiSi? Personally my FM reception is so bad with my Neuros to render HiSi useless. Anyone else? Works, no works?

When there is a good station HiSi works excellent depending on the station I am recording. The FM reception is pretty bad, but it is the same I get with most portable electronic devices (other than expensive speciallized radios).

I get about 3 good stations one is spanish, one is rock, and one that varies from rock to elevator music depending on the time of day. HiSi works best on the rock station I get, as it should. Some of the spanish tunes are a little catchy but it doesn't get those. HiSi will get better with time. I hope the RF plug in the future will increase FM reception.

I've got about 7/8 success rate so far. I'm not sure why the last one failed -- the quality was good, perhaps the section of the song matched another too closely.

I have 12 resolved, 10 best guesses (4 right, 4 wrong, 2 not verified), and 2 not founds. Some of the errors are from incomplete signals (ran out of 128K memory or ran out of song) and from noisy signals. Other errors just seem to be bad guesses.

Although this 2 out of 3 success rate doesn't look so good, it's still better than me trying to guess. It's also easier to use than trying to write down the track info if the DJ obliges. Even when the DJ does oblige, I can still get it wrong. I didn't know Trapped was actually spelled Trapt!

P.S. I really missed HiSi this morning. Unfortunately, (or fortunately because MyFi will be fixed) my Neuros is on its way back for repair.
