Whats the difference and how can they be told apart from one another in a picture?

Yes. The Neuros I brain is gray (or grey, up to you), while the Neuros II brain is Black. Neuros II has improved MyFi and more channels that it can broadcast to.

The buttons are also raised a slight bit, but it helps.
Main unit is still USB 1.1.
And just other little artsy things.
