Subject: Keep it cool? During a large sync the Neuros II HD tends to heat up quite a bit, maybe if there was a small vent or something to allow it to stay cooler.

Reply author: peterskm That would be a good idea, however, what kind of jumk would end up inside as a result. I have a laptop cooler that I put the Neuros on when doing large synchs.
Reply author: The J The best way to keep it cool would be to have part of the player made of aluminum. The metal can act as a heatsink for the hard drive and other components. The metal will get warm, but probably not much warmer than the backpack gets (unless the drive is a real heater).
