Reply author: Sottilde I actually suggested that in another thread, and I hope it happens - a simple database that stored the directory structure to a small text file or whatever every time the USB cable is disconnected would be VERY nice. It would eliminate almost all use for any sync manager.

Reply author: encosion's neuros died again... encosion has left the building in a huff, never to return... Nice one... I agree that it needs more work though, it's a bit cumbersome that it doesn't read the whole directory at once... I think it'd be quiet nice to have an option somewhere to cache the directory tree of the entire drive... But then maybe, it's getting a little complicated / backwards...
