One thing you guys might want to change on the design of the protective case - make the bottom of the clear plastic lower. With the 442 in the case, you can't see the name of the device. I don't know if you're concerned about it or not, but with any new product, I'd want to make sure that anyone who sees someone using it and says "Hey, what's that" can see the name of it too. Just my 2 cents worth.

good observation...us testers with the first round of commodore units dont even have that logo.

When I was a kid my mom used to tell me that curiosity killed the cat...What she forgot to tell me was that it also discovered the cat, invented the lightbulb, and forged the Neuros

I would just like to see the case put together in a way so the clear plastic lays flat and doesn't bubble up.
The plastic bubbles catch light and reflections and drive me nuts.

I was also planning to comment on the clear plastic window. That thing is so wavy the reflections really obscure the picture. When I find my hair dryer, I plan on heating that thing up to see if I can shrink it and tighten it up a bit (without the player in it, of course). Other wise, I may just cut it out and try a pda screen protector instead.

My wife has one of those Ipods. Anybody know what I'm talking about?

Anyway, I got a case for it that's basically like rubber spandex on a fat guy with a real tight clear plastic bit over the screen. I'd love to see the same thing for the 442.
