Hello, all. I'm looking forward to using the MPEG-4 recorder... but I'm having a lot of newb problems.
1) I've connected to my Tivo2, can see player menus, and yet when I try to record, it gives a 'no device found' message. Not sure what to do here... as far as I can tell, it's connected per manual instructions. I've got a 1gig SD card in place, formatted it with the player... yet nothing. Signal's coming through... but no dice on recording.
2) The only options menu I'm able to access is the one that allows for time settings, formatting card, etc. Can't seem to get to any Options menu (such as the one that allows for recording quality settings).
3) Tivo users: how would I transfer a program recorded on Tivo to the MPEG-4 player? Please advise.
Thanks for any assistance provided!

1. It sounds like you have to switch from CF to SD, I don't have the unit in front of me, but I belive there's a "storage" key on the remote that will do it.
There are two ways to record with TiVo, #1 you can set the Tivo and the recorder to record at the same time (using TiVo to set the tuner), or you can record with the recorder from the TiVo after the fact by playing from the Tivo and recording with the recorder. Does that make sense?

Heh, Joe beat me to the punch while I was creating an account to answer this question.
edit
The Storage button is on the right side, second from the bottom.
