Subject: Recording with Neuros II I am looking at buying one of the 80gb neuros II's that are still available. I really want to use it for some recording. Does this unit record from an external microphone source? Is there an internal preamp?

Yes it will, but it needs an external preamp.

"STILL AVAILABLE" Are they phasing these units out? Are they older units? Also, is the built in mic mono or stereo?
