CF Microdrives Do Not Function

Subject: CF Microdrives Do Not Function Get displayed "No Device" when I try to use my microdrive. Drive listed is a 4gb Seagate ST1 microdrive

Similar situation, recorder recognises the microdrive (hitachi 4g) but when the rec. button is pushed in (rec) nothing happens. (since I bought this recorder it hasn't recorded) Help?

Hey Guys,
Sorry about the late response to your post, my apologizes. I need to ask a few questions first;
1. Are you guys using a type 1 or 2 CF media card?
2. What firmware is currently on your recorder 1?
3. How long have you guys owned the recorder 1 for and did you also get it from a direct Neuros reseller?
