Sorry, this has been posted by error in the feedback section.
So I am reposting it under the support.

I am using Recorder 1 for security purposes and need recording nonstop when in Auto Record mode!
Originally when I got this unit new last week it appeared to work for more than 2 hours. (Not sure)
Now it will stop recording and will switch back to MAIN menu after about 2 Hours.

Resolution SIF(352x240)
Quality Normal
Quick Setup OFF
Timer Record OFF
Auto Record ON

Is this normal behavior?
Is there any work around?
What should I do?
I have purchased three units.

I think the unit records for 2 hours then starts a new file. At least
that is what my unit has done. I use it for security too and have had no problems upon the 2 hour mark. It just automatically creates another file in sequence.

It is a bug. Reported here:

ah, here we go. i replied to the other thread as well. What ex-navy said is right. it should immediately create another file and keep recording. I think that it has something to do with the FAT filesystem.
