Reply author: AZ_SwimCoach Hi, I'm having the same issue. I just got the recorder 2 and so far there are black bars that appear at the side of my recordings. I don't know if it is related, but I noticed the Neuros splash screen also does not fill the tv screen left to right because it is shifted to one side. This leaves a black bar during the power on splash screen. I don't know if that is normal. I'll try different sources later today.
Reply author: AZ_SwimCoach Here is a sample of what it looks like. I tried with my camcorder and my DVD player and I get the same results--two thin black lines.
Reply author: North try to upgrade new firmware for R2
Reply author: AZ_SwimCoach I downloaded and then updated the firmware. I now have V02.00.0019 it did seem to make a small difference to the left bar... It is slightly smaller. When I get to school on Monday I'll see if I can upload another video clip to show the difference. I tried other souces and cables so that is not a problem.
Reply author: AZ_SwimCoach My mistake, after checking, the full screen mode does have the black bars. It just was hard to see them on the tv with the darker scene I had recorded--on the computer they are quite visible. The small 172 size, however, does not have the bars on the sides. I really would like to get this fixed. The new school season is starting and I would like to use the recorder to simplify how I use video for my classroom as well as my swim team.
Reply author: AZ_SwimCoach Here is another video clip showing the black bars again. This is after the update. Neuros Forums : http://www.neurosaudio.com/community/forum/ © Copyright ©2002-05 Neuros Technology International, LLC all rights reserved. |
