i don't know about you guys but i only like the ipod for the way itunes sorts AND plays .mov files and music files. Maybe if the next beta wasn't EXACTLY like itunes, with all of the things that Apple needs to change, but something closely along that line would be great. And something that won't crash as frequently as NSM does now. Focus on the later first.

yeah, i just downloaded both and i have to say that NDM is alot more of what i was wanting. plus the java base...alot less app crashes maybe ;) i didn't really like the sorune interface. i liked ndm cause it's more like the easy to use nsm interface (just advice to futures nubs)

Did you try something like sorune or NDBM, yet?
I would recommend all of these over NSM!
