Posted - 03/21/2006 : 1:20:53 PM My recently purchased MPEG-4 Recorder 2 works great, but the black level on both the recording preview screen and on the recorded files is distractingly too bright and the video looks washed out. (As if the brightness of the TV is set too high.)
This is also the case if I play the files back on my computer or PSP. I don't believe it is a problem with my video source (a VCR) or my TV, since if I bypass the Neuros and connect the video source directly to my TV, everything looks fine.
Is there a way to adjust the Black Level (brightness) when recording? Anyone else experience this problem and came up with a solution?
