Posted - 10/26/2004 : 4:56:49 PM Just a question: Is the term "MyFi" trademarked?
I saw that XM Radio announced a new product called "MyFi" today : http://www.xmradio.com/myfi/.
Now I am not in favor of frivilous lawsuits, but if DI went through the pains of trademarking "MyFi" (note the identical StudlyCaps(tm) spellings!) shouldn't it be protected?

Posted - 10/26/2004 : 5:25:27 PM Yeah. How much did they get for it? Maybe this will pay for totally awesome new Neuros features like Photoshop image-editing with a free firmware update, or DVD±RW burning, or Commadore64 and PCjr. compatibility! Oh boy! Or maybe Neuros Audio (NA, not DI) could start paying dividends!
Hmm. Does DI or NA have publically-traded stock? :P

Posted - 10/26/2004 : 5:01:08 PM This is good news, then. I just wanted to make sure that the "little guy" wasn't getting steamrolled by someone bigger.
Glad to know that it all happened above-board.
A very happy Neuros customer and DI fan, Ken |
