I tried to up graded the neuros recorder 1. It finished and said it was Sucessful !! but when I fired it up now I get nothing only a message on the tv
No Program
version 1.03
1. What have I done
2. How do I fix it.

Is http://www.neurosaudio.com/support/support_MPEG4_R1updates.asp what you used? If not, follow the instructions to install that. Even if it is, it might be worth trying again. Unfortunately, firmware problems that can't be solved with the company's upgrader software usually require you to send the device back to the manufacturer. |

I got the recorder off ebay. When I checked it against the update it seemed like the right tihing to do.
Problem is that whatever has happened it scrubed the 'program' that runs the thing. I guess I'm one of those that should not mess with things.
Does anyone know how I can get it back, how do you access the core program? Not that i want but I have to get it back up and running.

Er... Neuros has never released any updates for the Recorder 1*. What the heck did you try to install??
*Yes, there is one update listed on the page, but it is the same version that is already on all the recorders they ship, except for some very early beta versions that a small number of people were able to buy. I seriously doubt you have one of those. |
