Posted - 01/04/2006 : 1:49:53 PM i have the mpeg recorder 1. i have successfully recorded video and it plays back on my tv perfectly with sound. However, when i try to open Ulead software it has an error and shuts down.. I have un-installed the software and re-installed it again. still will not open. so when i open the video file separately in my computer it plays the video but has no sound. the only thing that works is if i run the file through divx to dvd software. Was wondering if the ulead software will make the audio play and also wondering why it has never opened.

Posted - 03/11/2006 : 07:01:38 AM Hi, I'm a newbie so take this as experiance not expertise. In a previous post about codecs it was revealed that you would have to download the G.726 codec for media player. I did this and got audio fine. I use ulead 8 and the audio works with it as does nero palyer as well windows player. I hope it helps. Also from experiance when dealing with video its memory hungry and if you record an hour plus that is one big file to edit even with a decent processor

Posted - 03/03/2006 : 9:16:48 PM FWIW, I'm a Mac user, and for me, the Ulead software made a great frisbee. :)
But strangely enough, the videos play fine in the (discontinued) Mac OS X Windows Media Player, which usually doesn't work with... anything. TCPMP works well too. |
