Will we need a firmware upgrade for the 16 and 32 gig PRO DUOs that are supposed to ship in the 4th quarter, or will they work as the machines are now? |

Yes - when I said that the 4 GBs are just starting to come out, or maybe not even that yet, I was referring to Memory Sticks, similarly to the rest of posts in the thread. CompactFlash cards are slightly ahead in maximum capacity. |

There's also 4GB and 8GB CompactFlash cards, but as the others said, 16GB and 32GB cards (in any format) aren't for 2006 IMO. |

All I see in that thread is one person called "Metallic" who insists that they exist. All the other people, plus the site's news articles, seem to indicate what I already thought - that even 4 GB and 8 GB cards aren't really out yet. 32 GB??? I'll believe it when I see it. |
