Posted - 12/10/2005 : 12:55:42 PM This may be a basic question, but when i record video and transfer them to my desktop, they appear as WMV files, which will not transfer to itunes. Can someone let me know if there is an option that I have to check to change that, or if files have to be converted one at a time with some third party software (if so a recomendation would be awesome!)
thanks.

Posted - 03/15/2006 : 12:25:26 PM Sorry to say, Flip4Mac-WMV is VERY poor at this point, and it does not work correctly with Neuros ASF files.
Anyone who expects iTunes to work with ASF or WMV, or who expects the Neuros 1 to record in some alternate format, did not do their homework before buying the N1. (Not sure why the devs need a sample file to tell you that either.)
At this point, you could try ffMpegX (about $20), which can usually convert the files but tends to have various odd bugs, or Snapz Pro X, which is a screen video capture utility that costs a lot - I think $60 - but it works well. |

With the Windows Media Components for QuickTime by Flip4Mac, you can play Windows Media files (.wma and .wmv) in QuickTime Player and view Windows Media content on the Internet using a web browser.
