Posted - 04/26/2005 : 8:50:19 PM Heya, this is specifically to the Neuros designers. I have an 80Gb Neuros and feel the way in which to take off the backpack is just too annoying and difficult, there is no real place to leverage your fingers in order to take it off. So you have to sort of push the controller from the top, where the mic is, by wedging your fingers in the gap (being not so pleasant on the fingers) just to get it off. |

I'm sure there are a plethora of ways to remove the controller or computer or brain from the HD though should we have to do that? I dont think we should but we need to; the device should be designed for ease of use (i understand alot of users will not need to detached the controller that often) even if a feature is not used as often as some, it does'nt even have designated "grip area" in order to indicate how the designers want the user to detach it.
Now i must say this is a minor flaw though for myself it just multiples the annoyance as my Neuros, recieved not more than 10 days ago, has refused to operate except as an expensive paper-weight (though something i have no need for), which i have noticed is a common and frustrating problem among quite a number of people. I was once quite excited about receiving and using the neuros though now, surprisingly so soon, i am dissappointed and annoyed. Before asked; yes i have contacted Neuros through email, the cheapest way for me as i reside in Oz, though have yet to received a reply (perhaps they are busy?).
SO i will wait for the reply and mourn for the loss of a potential loved one. |

Posted - 04/27/2005 : 07:53:05 AM make sure you're hitting the release tab on the battery too. I almost broke mine because I forgot about it. |

It will loosen up over time. In the meantime you can slide a dime between the player and the backpack to get them separated.
