This is a cool little free music program located at www.pandora.com. it runs in your browswer.
When it starts up you can create your own half-streaming radio station. You enter the name of artists you like and it plays other music that sounds similar to what you like. the more artists you add and the more ratings you give to songs the better it is at finding new artists you like. I have used this for about 3 days, and have already found about 6 new bands that i like alot.
at first the program kinda sucks at finding music you like, but it gets smarter as you listen and rate more songs. Its great for finding new music.
there are other little details you will find out about when you use it. I do have 1 or 2 complaints...but its still great.

I would have to agree that this is a spiffy awesome program. My friend showed it to me a while back and I have been hooked. The sound quality is good, and it has helped me find a few good songs that otherwise would not know about. Definitely worth checking out. |
