Posted - 02/23/2006 : 9:06:02 PM When I record I get a thin black line on one or both sides of the screen from where the picture ends and the side of the screen. Picture and sound are otherwise fine. I recorded a few movies before this started to happen. Is it a setting? Anyone run into this problem?
Thanks. |

Posted - 02/24/2006 : 10:24:45 PM I'm recording from the cable box. The cable goes from the cable box through the recorder to the tv. I'm going to check the cables again. |

Posted - 02/24/2006 : 11:11:04 AM What source are you recording? Television, VCR, something else? I ran into something similar when I recorded my old Star Wars Betamax tape. I think it had more to do with the "tracking" adjustment than anything else. If you are recording from a VCR I would suggest you look for the tracking control and see if you can eliminate the problem with that.
