Thinking about buying this for both my 5G iPod and PSP. How many hours of video can you put on a single 1GB CF/SD card?

if you set it to high quality...i think it ends up being about 1 hour and 45min.. by reducing the quality one notch(which does not lose that much quality), this can be extended to about 2.5 hours.

Edit: this is done with the old version recorder that only encoded at 640x240. So if you have it set at 640x480 it will be less...

Can someone chime in and give a better estimate?

The specifications page (linked at the bottom of the Recorder 2 product page), states that a 1GB card will hold ~60 min of video in the highest resolution recording mode (640x480).
quote:
Recording Time for 1GB card:
Economic=250min
Normal=143min
Fine=111min
Super Fine=60min

PSP and iPod video do not fully make use of 640x480, so you ought to use a lower recording mode such as Fine, Normal, or the PSP specific mode.

NOTE: the old Recorder records at 362x240, not "640x240"
