I'm a new user and I'm having problems with the audio. The picture is perfect but there is a hiss in the audio.

It could be a connection problem (port on your audio source), or the cables are not inserted correctly. Make sure to insert the jacks all the way in and test the recorder with a different audio source if you can. If you get the same issue from different source, it might be a cable issue, try with the second cable provided with the unit and let us know how it goes.

I just got my Recorder 2 recently and I am having the same problems after recording with the hissing sound. The cables are inserted properly and I switched the cables around but still having problems. In addition, the Neuros screen on my TV keeps jumping to the point where I can't even see the menu screen. It is really getting annoying. Please help! i really want this to work because I really don't want to get to the point where I could be asking for a refund back. I think I have a bad unit. Should I send this one back to get a replacement unit? Any help would be appreciated.
