I have been researching recording devices for transfering video to PDAs and PSPs and to the PC as well. I'm just not sure how this works. For instance if I want to record a DVD I own onto a memory stick pro duo for my PSP can I simply record from the DVD player to the memory stick via the recorder 2 and then take the memory stick straight to my PSP and watch it? Can I record a slew of movies into different files on that same stick and pop it straight into the PSP and watch without having to mess around with anything else? And now for my strangest question...
I have a Comcast DVR and I've recorded every episode of a cartoon series that I LOVE and which is basically off the air. I've contacted the studio that makes the cartoon and they have no plans to ever release the cartoon on DVD. I've been trying to find a way to get these episodes off of my DVR by transferring them to my computer and it seems the only way is to find a device that I can record to. My question then is can I do that with this device? Can I simply put the line outs into the Recorder 2 and start the episode playing and hit record, then take the stick to my computer and import the file in through my card reader, then use my dvd burning software to create a DVD of all of my favorite episodes of this show? I want to be able to pop the DVD in my DVD player and watch them on TV like I would with any other DVD. Is this possible or is the quality of video too low to look good on a full size television?
Any help you can give me here would be greatly appreciate.
Thanks! Jeremy

Right, you can record on a Duo or Duo Pro card and play the files directly on you PSP.
As for backing up files on a DVD, keep in mind that if you save the files as they are (MPEG4, AAC) you might not be able to play them on your DVD player. You need a hadware that can play this formats. You can use softwares to convert the files though.
