I am having a terrible time with my Neuros II.  I wanted to add some tracks to it, so I plugged in the USB cable. The little animated whatzit starts spinning and the screen says Synchronization and Do not disconnect. But this step NEVER STOPS. I have left it in this state for about five hours. Here's what I've tried so far: Unmounting the unit and letting the backpack charge overnight, then doing the NAND reformat. No luck. Tried various combinations of the reformat, to no avail. I even bit the bullet and reformatted the hard drive (losing everything on the unit in the process) but that didn't work either.
Gosh, and iPod is starting to look mighty attractive.
Please, please please tell me how I can get this unit working again.
