Any body have any ideas as to hook this up to a high definition cable box. It uses the red,blue and green cables(Pt,Pb and y on the cable box) The red,white and yellow cable are no good. |

What you have is called component. What the N1 needs is called composite, AKA "RCA jacks."
I don't know what it would cost/what you would need to adapt one to another, but your local electronics store might.
Keep in mind that neither the N1 nor the N2 can record at HD resolution, regardless of what they are connected to. |

Neo is correct. You have component video outputs on the satellite box. You need composite video jacks. Do you have a DVD player that can hook up to the satellite box, then take the RCA outputs off of the DVD player instead. It's a cheap way to convert the signals.
