I really want a portable media player, and I have narrowed my choices to the Neuros 443 and the Archos 500. Should I buy yhe 442, if yes should I buy it now or wat for hardware or firmware upgrades?
When will the upgraded firmware or hardware upgrades be available?

no set date on new hardware availability. the 442 is a good solid player, but it could use some more software updates. it will play most any video file you throw at it without missing a beat. Dont really know much about the Archos 500, but they make decent players. If i were you i would compare the features, and if you dont need one right away, wait for the next version of the 442. its going to be good.
