Hey Gimmy2k1,
how does your NAS share files, i.e what protocol?

More than likely, it's SMB/CIFS - which the OSD can connect to. But do check your NAS's manual first.

It's a nice question.
I have a 2TB Lacie server.
I have enabled HTTP and FTP service.
I presume it's work on TCPIP.

The strange Thing is: if i navigate in the network menu, i can't see any device.

IT'S NOT WORK

FTP and HTTP are not very good services for streaming video content over. They're more designed for transferring files from one place to another.

SMB is the most compatible service available, which the OSD will connect to immediately. can you enable something like that?

Is it something like this: http://eshop.macsales.com/item/LaCie/300961/

My understanding is they are working on NTFS as we speak, so stay tuned.
