 Huh
For what I've read, the recorder 2 has no akku built in. So you always have to plug a power source for operation...
Now the ebay-seller "neuros-deutschland" will sell the recorder for example on ebay-auction 28020128120.
In the description it says: AKKU OPERATION POSSIBLE!
I asked the dealer an got the answer: We will sell you the recorder plus akku f?r xxx Euro.
So what? Has the recorder 2 akku operation or not?
Greetings form munich.

The Recorder 2 is meant to be used in home.  If you wish to use it for outdoor use, then you will need to modify it so it can do so.  And we do not have any recommendations in how to do so.

Gumby Question.

What is an Akku??

I tried using a translator just in case it was a foriegn word for say battery but came up with nothing.  No doubt this will be a dumb question when I get the answer but until I do it's bugging the hell out of me.

thanks  Cool

I would guess its some kind of external power supply, for outdoor use.  Many use the Recorder 2 for their race cars, biking, sailing, etc.  We just dont recommend it for warranty purposes.
