Title: Having troubles with the Settings Menu for Remote IR Learning
Post by: yanvrno on October 03, 2006, 03:48:47 PM
Seeing my new remote never seemed to work  I went to see if the IR Learing section would reconize any of the commands from the Neuros remote,  It does'nt. But I did learn the using another remote I could create new commands. I just cant rename the command or exit out of the learning mode without rebooting. It did save the learned command and it does work but I can never rename the command or exit out of this learning mode without a reboot. Am I missing some keyboard key command to exit out?

At present, you can't exit via keyboard.
It seems your remote controller can't work completely. Didn't the LED flicker when press LEFT button? It look like the battery didn't be mounted in remote controller. :)

Please try reprogram your remote controller again. Following below steps:

Step1: Please check battery has been placed in your Remote Controller correctly. This can be sure per LED flicker when press buttons.
Step2: Holding the Remote Controller 'set' button and press 'NTSC/PAL' button, you can see the LED light red.
Step3: Entering the number 0 and 6 and 4

You can be assured I have tried this several times. If the remote worked at all it would show up when I tried to teach the OSD IR commands. It does nothing other than light up the led. It acts like its programming correctly but it just never works.
