That gets me out of just about every screen I've been in and moves me up one level in the screen hierarchy. The "Home" button may also work as well. I can only access the unit through the Serial and Lan ports. So I am at a loss for some control of the unit.

I'm sorry! If you enter Properties menu,the codec does not support go back through the Serial and Lan ports. Next release version will add it.
