Title: Video problems on Motorola Q
Post by: fgabbard on October 20, 2006, 03:07:05 PM
I just got my Neuros MPEG 2 recorder. Firmware is 2.0.19. I recorde t 320x240 and 30fps. When I play it on my q phone the audio is great but the video is choppy and out of sync with the audio. I do not know what I am doing wrong. The q phone has Media Player ver 10.

I don't have a Q in front of me, but I know that WMP is a vastly inferior player to TCPMP.  You have to really scale back the bitrate to get video to play properly on the Q, try 15fps or a lower bitrate.

TCPMP works great, but apparantly the AAC supporting version is still not yet been officially released.

You will need to get the AAC plugin for TCPMP. The other option would be to use the 3GP format, just be aware that it is a lower quality than MP4 with AAC audio.
