I just hooked up my OSD, and it appears to have one of the problems I had with my Philips DVP-642 - audio sync problems on some avi files. Happily, it doesn't appear to suffer from the video problems of the DVP-642.
Anyways, I assume that this is something that will be dealt with in a future firmware, IF I can bring it to the attention of the right people. Therefore, is there a central location to send info about audio sync problems? Can I send them the avi, or will gspot information suffice? So far, there's only one other potential issue, which is that the remote is not strong enough to reach across my living room, which is not at all a big room - maybe 10 feet tops from remote to sensor. Hopefully, once I program it into my learning remote, it will solve that problem. More blather is sure to follow as I put it through its paces. Title: Re: Same old problem, it seems...
