Neuros OSD / Neuros OSD - Feedback & Discussion / waterproof housing for OSD

I thought you all might be interested in seeing what I have done with my OSD.
I basically put it in a waterproof case, whacked in a few batteries, reed switch and strapped it to my windsurfer. See attached pic for a screen grab. The black box on the boomnear the mast is the OSD.
Unfortuneatly I had some software and hardware issues that resutled in short video files. The software seems to stop recording after a few minutes and after the heavy shaking I got a loose wire somewhere. Maybe the short files was just frames being dropped and the autorecord feature seeing this as a loss of the video feed??? Anyhow thought people my like to see what I have done.
Cheers Brett

Neuros OSD / Neuros OSD - Feedback & Discussion / Recording to USB stick

I tried to record from a bullet camera to a USB stick (2Gb) but the recording was jerky as if the processor was not able to write the video fast enough or process the video fast enough. Is this a problem with the OSD USB driver or am I using a slow USB stick? Has anyone else had this trouble with CF, SD or Sony cards?
Once I sort out the video recording I plan to put the OSD in a water proof case and use it as helmet cam for windsurfing and kayaking etc. I would prefer to use a USB stick but if the jerky video can not be resolved then I will have to either use a different medium or different recorder.
I would be interested in hearing other peoples experiences with recording video on the OSD
Cheers Brett
