the .23 firmware does seem much more stable.  I can boot the unit with an sd card in the slot, and I haven't had it freeze yet.

I have an A-data 4gb sd card which is still totally unrecognized by the neuros.  When I put it in a CF adapter, and plug it into the CF slot, it shows up in the filesystem, but empty.

the card is formatted fat32, and can be read by other computers and my treo.

If there is a way to get more detailed debugging information, I could do that as well.
