Neuros OSD

Records video from any analog video source and links your PC, Portables and entertainment center.

The Neuros OSD was created to connect user's computer and entertainment worlds. Among many other things, this would allow users to watch video downloads and digital photo slideshows on TVs and listen to MP3s through their stereos.

Previously the choices for doing this have been restricted to two approaches: all-in-one PC-based media centers and limited, closed "embedded" devices in various forms: PVRs, digital media adapters and streaming devices.

IMPORTANT: Please note that the OSD is still in the Gamma phase. This is a fancy way of saying that the hardware is finished but the firmware is still pretty buggy. We are hard at work fixing these bugs and are releasing new firmware versions more or less weekly. You can download the new firmware versions for free from our website to upgrade your OSD. These upgrades require a flash memory card (CF, SD, or MMC) and might require a card reader (if your computer doesn’t have one built in) but can be done in a couple of minutes.

To reward you for buying the OSD during this stage and for giving us your feedback, we will send you a $30 rebate after you complete an online survey. We expect to have the major bugs fixed by mid-November or so but are also offering a 60 day money back, no questions asked return policy to protect Gamma users in the event they’re not happy with our progress.
