In NSM, along with Add To Neuros and Remove From Neuros, there should be a selectable status called "Update on Neuros" or similiar. This would simply replace the mp3 on the Neuros with the mp3 on your computer. Now some of you may be thinking, why put a track on your Neuros if it is already there? Simple, because the mp3 is changed, and to replace it otherwise, you have to Remove, sync, Add, sync.
The reason I bring this up is because I am often making my own music and putting it on my Neuros, however I also often edit the songs, re-render the mp3s, and have to do the double-sync method above to put the new version on my Neuros. A simple "Update" option would make this a simple one-step operation.
This seems pretty simple to add, and would help me out, along with many others for sure. If its a possibility, please reply! |

Posted - 03/08/2005 : 9:16:46 PM well, NSM is open-source...
but i think it would be easier for you to use Sorune or NDBM and just drag-n-drop the new file to overwrite the old file, and then quickly rebuild the database.
