Posted - 08/12/2005 : 11:14:07 AM I am wondering now that neuros2 is dead and no longer being sold if we will ever see new firmware. I have tried 2.28, GarBage, BernardCafarelli and Nerochiaro. As far as I know these are the only firmware options available. I think they all have great features but also have annoying bugs (mostly the seek feature is slow in 2.28 and in the other firmwares will crash a lot).
I am just wondering if making wishes in this wishlist forum is futile or if things will be improved. I tried my hand at programming and just can't hack it too well. I would love to help in the development of firmware because I realize that complaining is just stupid and does not get anything done.
Does anyone know if progress is being made on any of the firmwares that I have mentioned? Are there any branches of firmware that I do not know about?
Here are the links to all of the firmware I know of. If you know of any other branches, please post them here.

Posted - 08/12/2005 : 11:47:39 AM Thanks for the info! Glad that Garbage is doing new stuff. Is there any info on new features or bug fixes that will be added? I think anything new and improved will be great. |

Posted - 08/12/2005 : 11:36:18 AM Garbage is ready to drop a new version soon, he just needed to get a new player to test it on before he released it. As for official releases from Neuros Audio, I don't think we'll be seeing those anymore. They have about 4 new product releases that are unfortunately taking priority over new firmware builds. |
