Posted - 02/17/2006 : 8:19:33 PM Two situations:
1. Time recording, you have to hook up your MPEG4 to a TV to set it up to record. When done, got to step 3 below.
2. If you want to record while watching the Comcast DVR, then setup step 3 first, then start record on the MPEG4.
3. On the rear of your Comcast DVR you will have a Video out jack (yellow), plug the MPEG4 yellow RCA into that one. On the rear of your Comcast DVR you will have two Audio Out (red and white). Plug the MPEG4 red and white into them. Plug the AV (other end of MPEG4 cable into the MPEG4. Now it is ready to record either by time recording or when you want to record.
Leave the MPEG4 plugged in to the wall adaptor to ensure you have enough battery life. It will record on battery but it is a good idea to ensure it works.

Posted - 02/16/2006 : 3:46:20 PM Does your Comcast Cable DVR use RCA cables for output to your TV? If not you may be out of luck if you cannot find a coverter for whatever plugs are used on the DVR. Assuming the DVR uses RCA cables, you would then follow the normal instructions for a VCR, but you would connect to the DVR instead and then play the recording from you DVR while recording with the Neuros.
Hope that helps.
