hello everybody

I have tried to browse a windows share with my mp3 library. browsing is possible with NSM but when adding mp3's, NSM say's "Can not add Z:\blabla...mp3.

Network Support would be nice. I have the slimserver (from slimdevices.com) on linux installed. this is a centralized streaming server for hardware and software clients. the point is, my mp3 library is on a server not on one desktop-computer.

great product! go further with it! that's the "thing" I searched a long time.

Personally, I would recommend ditching NSM. You can use NDBM (google it) or Sorune (www.sorune.com). NDBM is my favorite but it has problems recognizing files ripped with iTunes - Sorune doesn't have that problem but it doesn't sort files starting with 'The' correctly. Both seem to support network drives AND also support a different kind of syncing, which is what I do:

My Neuros shows up as F:. So I copy all my music as F:\music\artist\album (this is how iTunes sorts). I then go in NDBM or Sorune and click "Rebuild database". That will scan the Neuros for all music, and then build a database including all those files. Nice and simple.

NSM... is crap. Plain and simple. I would recommend going for one of these open source creations.
