Has anyone made a cable that goes from RF or headphone out of the Neuros that goes to an adapter for a car antenna? I'm thinking of something that keeps the antenna connected, like a FM CD changer adapter. I don't mind pioneering, but if it's been done, why reinvent the wheel?
I like MyFi, but if I can just plug in a cable and have perfect audio from my Neuros, I'll save the MyFi feature to impress my friends in their cars.
I've seen a product called logjam or something, that turns the cd changer input at the back of the head unit into an "aux in", but that cable is $70 or more. If I can do it for less, I'd like to.

| I did it for my wife's Civic with HONAUX cable to connect directly to the factory head unit. The adapter cable was about $50 + arround $5 for RCA to 3.5 cable from Radio Shack. Now she can use the Neuros like it is a CD changer. The sound is 100x better than MiFi. Some car head units already have AUX in port so you might not need an interface cable. Check you specific car stereo for such port. Hope this helps. |

| JC whitney sells a device that connects a CB radio to a box that goes inline with the car antenna. You could rig that wire (soldering of course) that goes to the CB to go to a 3/32 connector from the coaxial cable; i'd recommend using some small wire to the 3/32 connector then solder the wire to the coaxial so you have flexibility since the device has just a short bit of coaxial. if i remem correctly its like $30. It may or may not work, but the theory behind it says it should. |

Did anyone try any of this? How did you get on?
I've found that WiFi works pretty well in car provided that the Neuros is in an optimum position: in my little Fiat that's in the tray immediately below the car radio. Anywhere else and there is a lot of interference from other stations. |

Audiovox FM Modulator and Adapter
Model#: FMM100A
Hunt around, got mine for about $30. Simple install, hooks up to power and has a small on/off toggle switch. When activated, it cuts off the existing antennea's ability to recieve and thus gives NO interferance at all. Hooked it to headphone jack, cut volume full and works like a charm. Super clear, no static.

| Basically its a wad of wire crammed under tne dashboard near the gas pedal. One part hangs down so my foot hits it a lot. That's about it. |

get an aftermarket HU that has an aux input
mine has an input on the front so i just use a phono patch cable from the neuros to my HU, works perfect |
