As a "digital audio computer" one would expect the Neuros to have many advanced features that a computer would host. One such feature that I would greatly appreciate is a rating option. I often buy new CDs, rip them, and transfer to my Neuros to listen for the first time while I'm in the car. When I find songs I really like, I wish I could rate them on my Neuros to be able to later return and see what songs I really like of XYZ CD. A simple five-star system like most jukebox software has. This would be great as an Xi menu. The field is already there in the tags, Neuros just needs a way to edit that field.

Yeah... i did... and for some reason (my fault most likely) my message appears in orange letters IN the quote...
... but just to say it again and make it clear: "
Agreed, i've already mentionned it."

Thanks.

Oh! I missed that.

Yeah, I thought I remembered someone else voicing their idea long before me, but I couldn't find it and there was no such request on Bugzilla.

Dragging up an old topic I know but...

...rating support would be wonderful for an idea I had. I'm a some-time hacker on an open source project, iRate[0]. Basically, it feeds you music, you rate it, and it uses those ratings to find you more stuff. With rating support on the Neuros, it would allow me to write a program to integrate the Neuros and iRate. This would mean you could have a set of new music fetched, put onto the Neuros, you rate it as you hear it, and when you next sync those details are fed to iRate which finds you more stuff, syncs it to the Neuros, and so the circle is complete :)
