Just got my new Neuros and have since moved about 10gb of mp3's from my PC to the Neuros. Since then, anytime I plug the Usb sync cable into the neuros the PC not only doesn't detect it, the Neuros doesn't go into "sync mode." The Busy light just keeps flashing. Also I cannot shutdown the Neuros without hold play and hitting "up." Is it possible the HD could somehow be corrupted, and if so, it is possible to format the backback so I can start from scratch?

I have the same problem, using the latest firmware (2.25.0137). The locking at shutdown seems to have something to do with the power cable being plugged in or not..
It's possible to reset your firmware by pressing 1 + 5 + play (at the same time).. if you select "NAND Disk" then "Format NAND Disk" your firmware will be reset (and despite the warning, you won't lose the data on your HD). It will take a while for the neuros to rebuild itself the next time you run it..

I seem to be having the exact same problem as goodsx. I have had my Neuros for almost 2 years and never had any previous problems. Pressing 1+5+play doesn't seem to do anything for me. Perhaps I'm just not doing it right but any more details about this process or another suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
