My NSM sync software updates EACH and EVERY timeI check for updates (manually). It dowloads the patch and syncs with the neuros EVERY TIME for the last 10 times. After update it gives the msg. WOID_2.25 updated. Why?

Also, I downloaded the beta version 2.28 firmware and copied to firmware folder in Neuros. When I power down and start back up, Neuros does not detect the new version. I powered down as per procedure mentioned in the site. What is the problem?

I use a USB 2.0 version.

Did you hold DOWN the whole time while you shut down?

there is a procedue that you have to follow to install new firmware. Check the manual. You dont just power down and power back up.

Its working now. The prob. was mine is a USB 1.1 not 2.0!! Now that I have fixed a new 2.28 ver. firmware, the charging is on all the time even after pulling out power charger. Is there a patch?

Thanx for the help.

Try using some compressed air to blow out any debris that may have become lodged in the AC port.

Tried with compressed air (with a air filter) no luck. Tried nudging the charging pin a bit, still no luck.

Now the Backlight is also on all time. (I've set it @ off). If I change the setting to 10 min and then to OFF again, then the backlight goes off!!! But when I switch on with the play button again the backlight is ON all the time.

There is no change in the charger indicator, it shows charging ALL the time whether with backlight on/off and/or with power charging on/off.
