I recently bought a fm broadcaster of my own i can hook up to any headphone jack. I live in a small town with very low frequency competition and i still have problems receiving a clear signal. My question is about your experiences with the Neuros FM transmitter. Is the sound clear(especially on quiet, ie acoustic songs) and can you find a signal to broadcast on in a densly populated area? |

Hi there,
I use my Neuros all the time broadcasting through my car's stereo. I live outside of Washington, DC, which is a pretty full radio dial, but I find that my Neuros works just fine, and is powerful enough to take over a spot on the dial that's not coming in clearly. It works well with loud songs as well as quiet songs, once I turned up the Gain on my Neuros. I've never used any of the other FM transmitters, but I imagine they all work close to the same way. |

| I bought A Ramsey Fm 10a wich is a very cheap and simple fm tranmitter kit or u can buy the assymbled version. anyways i tryed the kit loved it for awhile then i didnt like the distance it would put out at 8 mw it was only at the most 1/8 mile or shorter. so i think im gonna byt the fm100b export 1 watt version and then get a 25 watt amp to boost the range by a few good miles. i live in a small small town were its only 4 miles or less radious so this should be good for the town and maybe no fcc problems will occour |

I have no prob here. Turn the gain up and move the Neuros as close to the car stereo as possible. If you do not listen to any broadcast radio try unplugging the antenna to the car radio, then it can only pick up the Neuros. Try differnt frequencies as well. I have better luck here at the low end of the dial. Ray in DM

Greetings and Salutations!
I live in the Metro Atlanta area and much of the FM dial is filled with stations. I have found one frequency whichs works best during the day and another that works best during the night. It's a wee bit annoying having to switch back and forth but I'm used to it.
Cheers, Harry |

| I just sent my neuros back to cust service because the fm transmitter never worked well enough to justify its purchase. I have never, under any conditions, been able to broadcast a good signal that I can receive without static or at a high enough signal level. I'm pissed off and I want them to fix it or give me my money back. |

The sound quality of FM transmission on my Nueros is fairly unacceptable, I worked many years as a studio recording engineer/producer, and I don't like low quality audio. The Neuros via FM is for me, unlistenable.
