I keep hearing refs to HD players skipping and not being usable during physical activity. I actually bought the NII with using it while snowboarding and in the car as my main intentions
is the former going to work?

ive taken the neuros when snowboarding and it been fine, but i wouldnt really reccomend it since it really isnt too great for the player, but as long as you dont fall on it, then it shouldnt get permanently damaged.

whats not good for it? Odds are I wont fall on it since Ive done maybe..I dunno...two "pete rose" slides since Ive been boardin. in 15 years thats not bad odds:)
I was thinking of getting a radio pack that straps across your chest. seems like that would provide enough shock absorption (my body)?
anyone else?
thanks noiz

as with any hard drive shock is not good. Most hard drives are rated for a certain amount of shock and if that amount is exceeded while running it can damage the player. if you ride fairly smooth and dont crash it shouldnt be too bad...but remember the more vibrations the worse off the hard drive is and it may not last as long
The dissapointment of poor quality lingers long after the thrill of a cheap price...
