This is a new forum topic devoted specifically to using the 442 with Macs. If you have any questions, comments, tips, or suggestions post them here and I will try my best to help you out.
First of all, since the bundled Ulead encoding software doesn't support Macs, I would suggest downloading the free video/audio encoder called "ffmpegx" instead, here:

I've had good luck using it so far, with very fast results on my 1.25ghz Mac Mini with 1ghz RAM. |
