Apologies for bumping this 8-month-old topic, but since no one has replied yet, and I suffer the same problem as the OP, it would be most helpful if someone with knowledge and/or magic can solve our problem here.
Here's what I'm running: Windows XP Pro SP2 NSM 1.54 for a Neuros I Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.6 Windows Media Player 10 Java Runtime Environment/Plug-in ver. 1.4.2_11
When I visit Amazon.com and click on a song preview link, such as this one:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/music/wma-pop-up/B0009UBYRE001001/ref=mu_sam_wma_001_001/102-3277456-1036930
Clicking on the link, which should launch the Windows Media Player for streaming, instead launches a Neuros Synchronization Manager installation package installer three times in a row. Is this an NSM problem, a WMP problem, or a Java problem (NSM uses Java to operate)? The same thing happens if you launch the WMP link from within IE as well.
The resulting error box states: "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'NSM_154.msi' in the box below." |
